    Wine Pairing for English Wine Week

We’re really proud of our very first two wines from Wildshark Vineyard and we want to shout it from the rooftops! But we respect our neighbours… so we’ll settle with a blog on the wines and some delicious food pairings from our pubs!

We’ll get to the pairings in a moment but firstly, let us introduce you to our wines!

Bacchus

Bacchus

Our 2023 Bacchus is made with Bacchus grapes and has notes of elderflower, lychee and tangy lemons.

We were delighted to have such a large harvest of this grape to make into our first delicious still white.

With an abv. of 12.3% this wine is vegan friendly and homegrown as well as sustainable.

Rosé

Rosé

This delicious 2023 Rosé is the newest addition to our pubs and is made with 100% Pinot Meunière grapes to create a stunning medium bodied wine with notes of wildflowers and red berries.

The Rosé has an abv. of 12.5% and like the Bacchus is vegan, sustainable and homegrown.
