We’re so proud here at Elite Pubs to say that 85% of all our food is sourced within 25 miles of an Elite Pub. Sourcing local food is at the heart of what we do and we’re proud to work with some of the best local suppliers around. From seasonal flavours to authentic artisanal ingredients, our food will always be locally sourced and expertly made.

Chapmans has been going for over 26 years. The team, consisting of 47 people, operate from a number of locations; our state-of-the-art central depot, their Canterbury restaurant, our Rye Harbour landing depot and their new Borough Green retail counter.

Not only do Chapmans source fish for many restaurants, they also source privately. They only source the best, freshest fish, straight from our boats wherever possible and are always working to keep food miles as low as possible, and traceability as clear as possible.

We’ve got a couple of dishes on our menu with fish sourced from Chapmans so come and have a try!

Who doesn’t love cheese? It’s just the best. Golden Cross have been producing their specialist soft, mould-ripened goats’ and sheep’s milk cheeses and supplying outlets throughout Great Britain since 1989. Golden Cross Cheese Company is a family-owned business run by Kevin & Alison Blunt at Greenacres Farm, Holmes Hill, East Sussex.

Over the years Golden Cross Cheese Co. cheeses have picked up many awards including the James Aldridge Memorial Trophy for Best British Raw milk cheese and the British Cheese Awards Best Soft White cheese 4 times!

David Catt & Sons

David Catt & Sons Limited is one of the finest independent suppliers of fresh produce, to the local area, from their farm at Boughton Monchelsea in Kent.

Their wholesale distribution division provides a full range of fresh fruit, vegetables, and dairy foods. David Catt (senior) started farming over forty years ago by planting onions in a single field. With initial success, he soon introduced his two sons, David and Mike to form the family business in 1972.

You can taste fresh fruit and veg from David Catt & Sons in most of our dishes!




Hedgerow Game is run by Adam and Hugo Hall, brothers from a farming family in Marden, Kent. Having grown up surrounded by countryside and wildlife, the brothers have always had a shared interest in rural life and cooking using fresh seasonal produce. They are passionate about good quality game and their products include partridge, pheasant, rabbit, duck, venison and pigeon.




The Franconian Sausage Company, based in Paddock Wood, Kent, was founded in 1999 by John-Paul Habermann. Franconian only uses the best quality ingredients and produces sausages with meat content between 90% and 98%. Franconian do not use additives, fillers, artificial colours or artificial flavourings and they have their own smoking and curing facilities on-site and are able to pre-poach sausages on request.
