And just like that… The Wishful Thinker turned one! One whole year of welcoming amazing customers for breakfast, lunch, dinner, private functions, live music, comedy nights, quizzes, overnight stays, shack experiences and a whole lot more.
We threw a party of all parties to celebrate… here’s how it went!

Who doesn’t love free food?! We had delicious samples running from the kitchen every couple of hours from jerk chicken and pineapple to pizzas, we kept everyone well fed throughout the day alongside our daily menu!

We were delighted to have our amazing Wildshark Vineyard tour team at the party to provide information and tastings on our vineyard and brand new Bacchus and Rosé wines as well as the Artisan Gin.
With such a beautifully warm day, the ice bucket was much needed!

We had an amazing line up for music with the amazing Robyn Taylor (pictured) before The Real Deal Collective bringing in the bangers until a final set from DJ GRABBA.

We had an amazing face painter for a few hours to paint the kids’ faces and what a hit she was! We had queues out of the shacks to be the next spider man or super mario!
Totally free of charge, this was a great way to keep the kids entertained along with some fun garden games like Jenga and Connect 4.

We partnered up with Fever-Tree for the event and they very kindly put together 3 limited edition cocktails for us to served on the day incorporating our Wildshark Gin… delicious and refreshing!
We were so pleased the day went so well and we welcomed over 1000 of you!
