Chris started his career in hospitality as a Kitchen Porter around 15 years ago, having just left school. After unveiling such a love for catering, he began his pursuit of a Chef career.
With previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef, he joined Elite Pubs, as Head Chef of The Potting Shed team in 2017. Chris’ talent, dedication and leadership skills were recognised very quickly, and he was promoted to the Head Chef of The Herbalist, and ultimately the Head Chef at The Pig & Sty.
Sharing insight to his buzzing role, Chris told us, “Menu changes are my favourite part, getting the team involved, encouraging ideas, inputs and photos of the new creative dishes. That’s what we’re here for!
