On 12th April we were finally able to raise a freshly poured pint to celebrate the reopening of outdoor dining at our pubs! We couldn’t have been happier to have welcomed 23,720 happy faces over the first 7 days and we’d like to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you that came to support us during our reopening.
Here’s what went on during our first week back in action:
Our reopening week saw the launch of our spring summer menus, which shine light on the very best of seasonal and local produce. Hero dishes from the new daily menu include a selection of sharing tapas dishes, Romney Marsh lamb shank, and Amaretto crème brûlée, whilst our new drinks menu introduced fresh frozen cocktails. With freshly stocked bars and new recipes, our staff poured 14,298 pints and mixed 5,602 cocktails!
When it comes to the great British weather, we like to be prepared for all occasions. Our pubs accommodate outdoor dining in both heated marquees and in our spacious beer gardens, so come rain or shine we can all get in that pub trip that we’ve been dreaming of for the past few months!
It was also a big week for The Pheasant Plucker, which opened its doors for the very first time on 12th April. With its stunning interior and spacious beer garden, our new pub in Ide Hill didn’t disappoint guests, and much like our other pubs, neither did its menu!
