The Queen’s Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend is fast approaching and what better way to spend it than in your favourite beer garden with friends and some delicious pub grub.

We’re celebrating along with the rest of the nation. There are tons of events from concerts to street parties and more. But what exactly are the reasons behind the Jubilee weekend? Let’s find out!

The Queen marks 70 years on the throne in 2022, the first time that a British monarch has celebrated a Platinum Jubilee – pretty huge right? But why June you ask? Simply put, June offers a better chance of good weather. This is why the Golden and Diamond Jubilees were in June also!

Let’s dive into some of the exciting events and celebrations being held from 2nd-5th June.

Jubilee Weekend Celebrations At Elite Pubs

Not only are we going to be having quirky decorations, quintessential cocktails and quality food served every day, but we’re also going to be supplying you all with some amazing live music over the four days!

Artists such as Ben Hills, Fred Clark, The U Turn, Jason Lines, Sophie Mullan and more will be performing across multiple venues! Click the button below to see the full line-up! A friendly reminder that we do not book tables outside, you’re more than welcome to book a table inside and move outside if there’s space or you can just walk in on the day. The Queen’s Birthday Parade

Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour): The colour will be trooped on Horse Guards Parade by the 1st Battalion, Irish Guards and over 1,200 officers and soldiers from the Household Division who will put on a display. This will be held on 2nd June and available to watch on TV!

Thanksgiving Service

Service of Thanksgiving: The Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen’s reign will be held at St Paul’s Cathedral. You can watch this on 3rd June.

Platinum Party At The Palace

This isn’t one to be missed. A concert at THE Buckingham Palace… don’t mind if we do! We’re set to see some of the world’s greatest entertainers performing.

Let’s do some name dropping to entice you further. Expect to see artists such as; Alicia Keys, Craig David, George Ezra, Sir Elton John, Sam Ryder (our Eurovision superstar), Nile Rodgers, Diana Ross and many more! Specials guests include; the nation’s favourite, David Attenborough, David Beckham, Dame Julie Andrews and more. If all that wasn’t enough, we’ll be getting special performances from casts from musicals such as Hamilton, The Phantom of The Opera, Six, The Lion King, Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat and a performance from The Royal Ballet.

Tickets are available to purchase but it’ll also be televised so that you can enjoy it from the comfort of your own home… or better yet, the pub! Pencil out June 4th for this event!

The Derby

One for our horse racing friends. The Queen will be in attendance at Epsom Downs, accompanied by other members of the Royal Family. Place your bets and be sure to join us for a celebratory pint if you win big on June 4th!

Big Jubilee Lunch

Street parties are being planned across the UK and neighbours are expected to join together for food and fun to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. It will mark the end of the Bank Holiday. Attending a street party yourself? Why not join us for a pint afterwards? We’ll be serving our roast and daily menus along with refreshing cocktails!

Jubilee Pageant

Performers will come together in London to tell the story of the Queen’s reign through a pageant that will include a “River of Hope” section made up of 200 silk flags that will make its way through The Mall.
