After months of planning, on 17th May we were finally able to launch Elite Pubs 13th venue, The Lazy Fox! Located just over five miles from the market town of Crowborough, the new pub is located in Mark Cross, a quintessential English village, neighbouring Mayfield, Wadhurst and Rotherfield.
The Lazy Fox is surrounded by the beautiful East Sussex countryside and boasts a beautiful south-facing beer garden – the perfect place to enjoy a spot of lunch and a refreshing pint (tried and tested by us).
Serving up the very best local and seasonal produce, guests can enjoy an all-day dining menu from 12pm to 9pm every Monday to Saturday, and from 12pm – 8.30pm on Sundays. From power bowls and pizzas, to steaks and Sunday Roasts, there’s something on the menu for everyone to enjoy.
Adding to the beauty of the new pub are several floral installations, designed by our creative friends at HEI Designs. Each install tells it’s own story and, in keeping with The Lazy Fox theme, they all incorporate bright orange tones. Arguably one of our favourite designs in a textured wall that sits opposite the bar, which has been created using real fungus and moss!
Our talented friend and artist, Antony Foster, also helped to bring beauty to The Lazy Fox with his bespoke murals, which you’ll find dotted around the pub. Despite being obsessed with every single one of Tony’s sketches, we’d be lying if we said that the giant fox painted in the front of the pub wasn’t our favourite!
We’d love to see you at our new pub and as always, a very warm welcome awaits! You can book your table here.
